The Eye of Fate - Aemond x Reader

fate had pulled the two of you apart...
as children you remembered him...quiet...gentle...
reading in the library together late at night, drawing dragons and reenacting ancient battles with sticks and weeds...

but then he took Vhagar...and that warmth between the two of you was broken...never getting the chance to repair as the family tore itself apart....

six years had passed and you and your side of the family had returned to the Red Keep in Kingslanding...six years since seeing him...six years to see the hardened...killer he had become...

but had he changed...? did all of what he was die the night he lost his eye...?

your heart doesn't know, neither does your head ...
but whatever still remains is dangerous between you both ...
could it turn into something true...? something pure...?
or something that causes the collapse of both sides of the Targaryen family....

after all ...when a Targaryen is born the gods flip a coin...
and with the family divided...and the Iron Throne the prize...where is room....for loyalty...or love...?
