River Moore has spent most of her life surviving.

Daniela Avanzini's life couldn't be more different.
As a member of the world-famous girl group KATSEYE, her days are filled with sold-out performances, cameras, interviews, and millions of people who think they know who she is. To the world, Daniela has everything. But fame comes with a price, and sometimes the more people are watching you, the lonelier you feel.

When a random trip to a thrift store leads to a brief look between two strangers, neither River nor Daniela thinks much of it.
