City of masks and fire

Two lives. Four identities. One city on the brink of fire.

In the neon-drenched streets of Berk City, the "Masks" are both saviors and fugitives. To the public, Night Fury and Deadly Nader are a lethal duo of vigilantes-survivors of a dark experiment with power running through their veins and high-tech nano-armor protecting their secrets. They trust no one but each other, never suspecting that their partner in the mask is the person they least expect.

By day, Hyden is the school's invisible shadow. A nerd, a loner, and the "disappointing" son of the cold billionaire CEO Stoick Haddock. He hides his genius, his wealth, and his scars behind fake glasses and a stutter.

By day, Astrid Hofferson is the golden girl of Berk Academy-fierce, popular, and untouchable. But behind the perfect exterior, her family is drowning in debt. When she's hired for a high-paying, top-secret job as the personal bodyguard for the Haddock heir, she expects a spoiled brat. Instead, she finds Hyden.

As a corporate conspiracy begins to unravel and the shadows of their past return to claim them, Hyden and Astrid must navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse. He's hiding a fortune; she's hiding a mission. Both are hiding the fact that when the sun goes down, they rule the skyline.

In a city built on secrets, the deadliest thing you can do is fall in love.

"The mask protects the hero. The truth protects the heart."
