Evelyn Whitmore has one rule, never disappoint and always try harder. Charlotte Bennett's rule is to never get close to anyone you love. A disastrous first meeting led them to instantly dislike one another, but even while ignoring the other for the remaining years that they had to spend together in high school, they were partnered up either way to prepare the school's gala event.
