In many ways, the apocalypse was his chance of freedom. It was freedom for some others too.

People in the apocalypse had been many things before. Doctors, mothers, police, regular civilians.

It didn't matter anymore. What mattered most was if you could survive.

Some people became the worst versions of themselves throughout the time of the apocalypse.

Some people changed for the good.

But unfortunately, there were many terrible people now.

Slowly, groups would form. One which Emrys Dixon was in.
