Coffee, Flowers, and Other Deliveries

Lucas Brooks has finally done it.

After years of saving, planning, and dreaming, he's opened his own coffee shop and moved into a small apartment nearby, ready to start a new chapter of his life.

Across town, Mason Fleming is trying to survive another deadline, another argument with his publisher, and another day running the family flower shop he never meant to inherit. Writing novels is his dream. The flower shop just happens to pay the bills.

When a supermarket promotion leaves Mason with a free drink he doesn't want, he leaves it outside apartment 808 with a simple welcome note for the building's newest resident.

A bag of coffee appears outside apartment 708 the next day.

Then come more notes. More deliveries. More small acts of kindness.

What neither of them realizes is that the mysterious neighbour exchanging gifts through apartment doors is the same person they keep running into every day-the cheerful owner of the new coffee shop and the intimidating florist with the permanent scowl.
