Joey Rhodes was a girl who hated her life. As any 17 year old girl does. Her parents sucked, but didn't. They weren't the worst people alive, but definitely not the best. They fought a lot. Maybe that was why her relationship was the way it was. Chaos was normal so those bruises on her felt normal.
One day, a casting director saw her while she was working. She told Joey she needed to audition for her and with nothing to lose or gain she did. Surprisingly, she got the job and suddenly her whole life changed. As the job was a role of a trouble girl adopted by the Avengers.
