Stranded in the brutal, neon-lit video game world he used to play on a screen, Higgs is tearing himself apart. He can't tell if the people bleeding in front of his clenched fists are flesh and blood, or just pixels and code. But as his choices begin to warp the game's story into something unrecognizable, the question from his dreams returns with a terrifying weight. If he treats this world like a game, he becomes a monster. If he treats it as real, the horrors will break him. To protect the last shred of his own humanity, Higgs must finally answer the question - because in a world where actions have permanent consequences, "justice" is the only thing keeping him from becoming the villain.
