“Analise? It’s me.” he said hesitantly, his bright green eyes filled with concern. “Ana- who? You mean Lacie…why do you keep calling me that? Who the hell are you?” I sneered back at him. “Ana I know you are freaked out right now but something has happened to you…I love you, it’s going to be okay.” he answers calm and collectively, like there was nothing wrong with this situation. And after hearing enough of that bullshit I smacked him across the face and ran for it... Analise left for Earth to keep Clyve safe duing the Early war against the Hosts. Clyve promised Analise that they would have forever together in Authora after it was over. But neither of them anticipated what was to happen once she left. Leaving her realm of Authora before she became a mature Reader, Analise, restarted her clock and aged as a regular human girl, Lacie, for the 20 Earth years of the war (2 Authora years). Lacie doesn’t remeber her life as a Reader, her home Realm of Authora, and her parents there. She doesn’t know of the war and the lives lost, she doesn’t remember that she is a daughter of a powerful Speaker, and worst of all she doesn’t remember Clyve, her true love, her soul mate, her forever. All Lacie remembers is growing up in small town Elmsvale, Canada with her family, going fishing and Jet Skiing on the water and the voices she hears in her head of the thoughts she can read. How can Clyve bring her home and restore her memories before she turns 21 if Lacie thinks everything he says is insane? And how can Lacie convince Clyve that he needs to leave without her when she is secretly falling for him?

She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." She gasps and a million things come out of her mouth,"Luke!? Are you ok? Where are we? What happened? Wheres Tristan? And Mr. Parker-" "Just open your eyes, princess." Princess? Where the fuck did that come from? Oh well, I like it anyways. "Shit."she curses when her eyes are open,"Luke! What the hell is going on!?" "I don't know, Princess, but don't shout. It echos." I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Well, it was for me,"Give me yourself, and you get your friend. Oh, and I'll let you go.
