The Remaining Hours

When the outbreak hit, society collapsed in a matter of days. Now, the concrete jungles and quiet suburbs belong to the "walkers"-shuffling, relentless remnants of humanity driven by a singular, primal urge to consume. For the living, existence has shrunk to a brutal, daily equation: find food, find water, and find a way to survive the next sixty minutes. The story follows a fractured group of survivors thrown together by circumstance, each harboring their own secrets, regrets, and ghosts from the old world. Among them is a reluctant leader drowning under the weight of keeping people alive, a hardened pragmatist who views morality as a luxury they can no longer afford, and those just trying to hold onto a shred of their humanity. In a world where resources are depleted and every shadow hides a threat, the dead are a constant, terrifying reality.
