The city of Adhara has buckled under a virulent, fast-moving outbreak that has permeated every district. This catastrophe fractured the territory into two opposing realms: Everfall in the east and Sunheaven in the west, both now embroiled in a bitter struggle to claim a definitive cure.

A year into the pandemic, two distinct societies emerged from the wreckage of the former military regime, each led by a different vision. Sunheaven, situated on Adhara's eastern flank, is commanded by Walter Guzman. A former sergeant, Guzman risked everything to guide and safeguard the survivors his unit managed to save.

Hidden away behind a mountain range, Sunheaven remains completely obscured from the ruins of the city. Walter is supported by a modest group of soldiers who chose to follow him after he broke away from the president and the central military leadership.

On the western side of Adhara lies Everfall, governed directly by President Carlos and his steadfast military units. This settlement is protected by colossal, unyielding walls built to shut out the infected, while guards maintain a ceaseless watch through the night to protect the inhabitants.

While hostilities between the two factions are high, they are united by a common, urgent objective: finding surviving medical experts. Everfall has already gathered several doctors in a desperate bid to engineer a remedy, though every trial has ended in disappointment. Simultaneously, Sunheaven seeks medical personnel not just for a potential cure, but to treat the numerous wounded survivors they have sheltered.

This friction has hit a critical peak; Everfall is now intent on dismantling Sunheaven to enable a fresh phase of human experimentation-a move that might yield a solution or result in yet another disaster.
