Every summer, they came back to the same place. A weathered caravan park on England's northern coast, where the sea was always cold, the arcade lights never seemed to work properly, and the days stretched on forever. This year, there are only five of them. Johnny should have been here. He took his life last November. But the closer they come to understanding why he chose to leave, the more they understand and the more they learn about one another-and themselves. Because grief has a way of making strangers out of people who once knew everything about each other. And first love has a way of finding you when you're least prepared. The summer of 1976 will never leave them. (original story)

Only a few months after joining the team, Fitz creates his greatest invention yet: a machine with the ability to travel through time. He and Simmons test it out and travel to the past, but they don't expect things to go so wrong. They certainly don't expect to be thrown into the greatest danger they've ever known. And one of them will be thrown to a world that's even more frightening than the past: their impending future. A FitzSimmons realistic time-travel fic ( if there is such a thing). Not AU. PG. Spoilers up to S02E06. Enjoy and comment if you like!
