Remi is haunted by a rodeo event that killed her horse and put her brother in a coma. Even though her brother recovered and the event was 2 years ago she can't help blame her self entirely. When Remis niece, Jade, comes to live with them and shows the same interest in horses, that remi had at her age, she panics. Jade wishes to ride in the rodeo but wants her aunts full respect and encouragement. When Remi thinks things can't get any worst a smoking hot city slicker is sent to live with Remis family and help out on the station. Even though Remi is already in a serious relationship, she can't help but fall for him. Will Remi ever ride again in a rodeo, will Jade get Remis blessing and will Remi pick the city slicker over the cowboy.

After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home.
