Valentina is an orphan she's been in the system for half her life ever since her dad died of cancer and her mom ran off with her side piece

Valentina is 17 she figure skates for the Italian federation she's half Italian and half Russian she was born in Italy in rome then moved to Russia at the age of 14 after her orphanage got torn down

She's had her friend Elena ever since she got in the Russian system they've shared a passion for skating and are alike in a lot of ways Elena Volkov was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She discovered figure skating through her grandmother, who inspired her love for the sport. After losing her grandmother, Elena entered the foster system, where she later met Valentina. The two bonded over skating and became like family to each other.

Elena and Valentina skated against each other on multiple competitions though this one would determine which one of them would make it and qualify for the Olympics

Since Elena is Russian and Valentina is Italian they share a training rink where only few people trying to qualify for the Olympics get to skate where only Valentina,Elena and 4 other people are practicing but today ereti tutberridze a Russian figure skating coach and her team has to share with Valentina and Elena

Coach Ereti is 50 in this and her team attempting to qualify for the Olympics are Anna shcherbakova,Alexandra trusova,Alena Kostornaia,Kamila Valieva
