she was alone and hiding it from everyone including herself. he thought he was broken for not finding anyone but maybe just maybe two broken hearts can fix each other. a bit of preview for chapter one: The world came into view. It felt like a hammering blow had hit my head in full force. I put my hand on my forehead as I stood up, cursing under my breath. "Holy shit..." As my vision cleared, I saw a half-empty bottle of whisky and a glass next to it on the nightstand, containing maybe only a few sips left. Soon after, I realized that I had fallen asleep-or, by the looks of the whisky, passed out-on the bed. But as I sat back down and felt the fabric beneath my fingers, I didn't find any familiarity with it. It didn't have the texture I was so comfortable with. It had too many pillows on it than what I had laid on. Then, as I looked down, I saw it. This... this wasn't my bed. I stood up, ignoring the stinging pain in my head, as I frantically looked around. And the realization hit me like a bolt of lightning in a thunderstorm. This isn't my apartment. This isn't even an apartment. It's a goddamn mansion-and a luxury one, no doubt. Where the fuck am I right now?
