'Wildflowers In The Fracture' are a collection of poems talking about the experiences and effects of trauma from childhood to adulthood.
Whilst on my healing journey I have found poetry to be therapeutic in helping me process the past and I wish to share them to let my voice be known even if I am still new at poetry.

මනුස්සයෙක්ට පුළුවන් නම් තව කෙනෙක්ට කියන්නේ නැතුව ඒ හිතට ආදරේ කරන්න..ඒ කෙනා වෙනුවෙන් මුළු ජිවිත කාලය වුනත් බලාපොරොත්තු තියාගෙන බලන් ඉන්න... හැබැයි එයා ජිවිතේට හම්බෙන්නේ නෑ කියන ඒ හිත පාරන වචනයත් එක් ක ජිවත් වෙන්න..එකට නෙවෙයි ද සෑබෑ ආදරය කියන්නේ රදිශ්.. ඔයා කියන ආදරේ ඔය මොකද්ද? මන් කරපු කැප කිරිම් එක්ක.. ඔයාගේ ඔවා වචන විතරයි..

See your papa is alright" he said, softly stroking her hair "N-no yo-you ar-are ly-lying y-you a-are no-not we-well" she said between hiccups ( No, you are lying, you are not well ) She hugged him tightly, like if she let go, he would disappear ❖ She looked at them in confusion, not understanding why they were laughing at her Mr. Handsome "Why are you all making fun of Mr. Handsome? You shouldn't do that, you all know Mr. Handsome is god's favorite" She said cutely, her lips forming into a pout "How do you know if he's god's favorite or not?"
