Wang Yixang who goes by the name Nicholas, is a cold, quiet, warm hearted guy who doesn't talk much. He is a Second Year student at his school and only has some friends. He doesn't hang out with his friends often. Nicholas also has low grades due to skipping school. Nicholas has never felt love before and he barely feels any emotions. He keeps things to himself and stays alone by himself often. Byun Euijoo who goes by Euijoo or Ej on the other hand, is a heartwarming, bubbly, kind hearted guy who is energetic and loves to hang out with his friends. He is also a Second Year student and has high grades and even won a scholarship. Euijoo loves to go out with his friends and loves to travel. Euijoo is like a sunshine who brightens up everyone's moods. Euijoo and Nicholas are in the same class but never spoke to each other.. One day, Euijoo was walking home at nighttime, it was raining and he didn't bring his umbrella. He was all soaking wet but Nicholas suddenly appeared beside him, handing him his umbrella. Nicholas is the university's heartthrob. Everyone's type on campus. Everyone's, except Euijoo's who only thinks of him as his best friend. Nicholas is fed up with all the letters, messages, and calls he gets from girls desperately wanting to be with him. He hates the idea of commitment or relationships even the slightest bit. Every new confession only frustrates him more. So, to ease his frustration, he vents to his friend group consisting of Euijoo, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon. "Bro, you're everyone's type here. It's obvious people are going to fall for you," Heeseung comments as Nicholas groans in frustration. "Ugh, I hate this. I don't even like half the people who confess to me. I seriously need a permanent solution to this," Nicholas complains. "Dude, why don't you fake date someone? That'll show people you're actually committed," Sunghoon suggests.
