To the entire world, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are two rival powerhouses of the European pop scene. In reality, their secret, deeply tender relationship was the safe haven they could always return to. Everything came crashing down one June night in Monaco, courtesy of a disastrous misunderstanding involving the king of one-night stands, Carlos Sainz.

When Max takes the Eurovision stage a year later to scream out his pain through the bookies' favorite track, "Next Summer," one of his fiercest rivals turns out to be Charles.

The London arena quickly transforms into an emotional battlefield where the paths of other lost hearts cross:
