This collection is a journey through borrowed hearts and imagined lives stories of love, loss, longing, hope, and healing. Every page carries a different voice, a different season, and a different truth.
Some poems will remind you of someone you miss.
Others may remind you of the person you're becoming.
If you've ever loved deeply, grieved quietly, or searched for hope in the middle of winter, perhaps you'll find a piece of yourself within these pages.

Passion That Remains Deceitful
To be honest I truly admire his; spirt, ambition about football, sense of humor and his ability to hold a conversation. I just so happen to like the package it comes in. He raised my hand and placed a gentle kiss on it, and he whispered. ''There's only one person that can make me feel like I can fly. That's you. ''He declared. Those were Will Smith's lines. He got it from the movie we watched yesterday at the movies called The Genre. I remember laying on his chest and telling him, I would die if anyone were ever to say these words to me. ''Why, is she a drug dealer or something.'' He winked when he said the last part. Tolan forgot his friend standing next to him. --------- This book is about.
