Our Autumn Brew

Dean has gotten good at keeping things quiet. Behind the counter of a small tea/coffee shop, he moves through his days with careful routine college classes, late night writing, and the constant effort of holding himself together. But when the door chimes one ordinary afternoon and an old face walks back in after fifteen years, The careful balance he's built starts to crack. This person used to know exactly how to get under his skin. Now they're back, carrying the weight of everything left unfinished between them so many summers ago as the autumn trees give birth to new beginnings. Some people return and stir up more than just memories. Some returns don't let you stay quiet for long.

// a lot of this is based on a true story while some of it is obviously fiction for aesthetic enjoy.
