The Meridian Grand Hotel was supposed to be a night of music, champagne, and celebration. On April 18, 1992, singer Hannah Royce is moments away from performing at the gala when she sees the ballroom burn before the fire ever begins. Smoke. Glass. Screaming. A song that should have ended. Nine people survive a disaster no one else could have seen coming. But in the days that follow, the night at the Meridian refuses to stay behind them. A damaged cassette tape begins playing warnings no one recorded. Radios whisper with voices that should not exist. Phones ring with messages from nowhere. Hannah does not know what followed them out of the fire. She only knows it remembers their names. Book 2 of my Final Destination fanfiction series. This story can be read as part of the larger series, but it also stands on its own as the 1992 Meridian case.
