The Shadelands are where the dead go to spend their afterlife. But the thing is, not even the Shadelands are truly safe. Especially from Daemons and Angels, who are, naturally, at war with each other. And naturally, they also use the mortal souls in the Shadelands as fodder for their battles.
But now, the souls have found a way to manipulate the magic which both Angels and Daemons use and feel as their own. Of course, there will be a lot of trial and error, but when it is finally discovered how all of them could control the magic of the other beings, the souls will no longer be enslaved. Well, that's their hope ...
In the war between the Shadelands and Glowlands, no one is safe. Not even the dead.
