What if someone bonded a dragon outside of Basgiath? Raven Riorson, not nearly old enough for the quadrant, loves adventures. With sixteen, she decides to run away from her foster parents and make the best of the years she has, because they didn't train her anyway. Wandering over fields and forests, jumping on wagons and stealing from hotel kitchens, she makes her way across the continent. Little did she know that she was about to encounter a dragon, nonetheless one of the biggest alive. Surprisingly, she didnt get torched, and instead bonded that mighty and rare dragon, flying to the war college. While waiting for judgment, she reunites with her big brother, and meets Liam for the first time. The teachers, not knowing what else to do, make her cross the parapet and put her to join the lessons if she survived. But does she? Nora Kane was drowning on dry land. All her life, she'd been thrown from foster home to foster home. Some of them were at least okay. Others...not so much. Riorson's Daughter
Riorson's Daughter is a Fourth Wing fanfic. The Story is based around Kaia Riorson. 17 years old, Kaia is the youngest rider to enter the Quadrant. but not by choice. Kaia is a marked one, and even more so the nine years younger sister to Xaden Riorson, and daughter to the Tyrish rebellion leader Fen Riorson. It was not her choice to cross the Parapet so young, and let alone with her condition; Hypoglycaemia. a condtion which can lead to serious blood sugar drops. and not only that but Xaden haas lied to everyone. About Kaia. They don't even know she exists until she steps off the Parapet... Kaia's story was inspired by many things, the urge to want to write, to want to be a part of the world Rebecca Yarros created and a way to show myself that I can do something great. Kaia has the same condition that I do, and luckily I've never had to go through the things that Kaia has with Hypoglycaemia, but lots of it is based off personal experience.
