JB, a red dragon shifter with golden amber eyes is known as the best alchemist in all of the country Ladorah is taken from her home by the same species that betrayed her family when she was just a child unwillingly just to tend to a master with an untameable curse. Hykyle, a man of royal status she once knew as a child while still learning the alchemist trade from her grandmother, now stands in front of her just as arrogantly as she remembers. Red dragons are know for their alchemist talent, earth magic, and the fact that they can't breathe any element. Being a red dragon in the dragon species means you're only valuable when you can cure an illness, curse, or poison; being one is an automatic sentence for being thrown into servitude, though once highly respected. Dragons have extremely long life spans and are still considered children until they come of age and fully grown at 200 years old; equivalent to a 21 year old human.
JB, raised by her grandmother after the royal family slaughter almost of the red dragons, ditched her family's millenia long stand name and simply became a worldly known healer. She and 2 other red dragon families escaped into different corners of the world leaving their bloodline names to become alchemists posing as humans trained by red dragons who are thought to be extinct.
Hykyle, known as the dragon lord, has ruling over the dragon species and clans. His family is the reason JB is in hiding and posing as human. Now she's been taken and brought to the royal castle to serve as a personal healer for Hykyle. She doesn't take this happily, staying the firebrand she is. Now Hykyle has to let other shifter species, loyal to JB and her talents, into the castle just so they can still receive medical treatment.
How does the two dragons handle each other when deep rooted hatred burns at the core?
