Adeline Finch, a muggle-born Hufflepuff in her fifth year at Hogwarts, is facing many quickly-approaching difficulties:
1. She's been dating her boyfriend, Elias Carrow, for eight months- in secret. He is a pureblood Slytherin, with deatheaters for parents, making their relationship forbidden.
2. She is informed by a certain Blond that her parents are on the Dark Lord's hitlist due to their relation to her aunt, a renowned Auror.
3. While hiding this information from Elias, they devise a plan to go public in their relationship- a plan which is unfortunately diverted when her best friend, George Weasley, claims to be dating Adeline to save her from a punishment.
4. Draco Malfoy has become an annoying pain in the arse after informing her of the deatheaters' intentions.

Will her parents be saved, not to mention herself? Can she separate her fake feelings for George and her real feelings? And as the end of the year draws nearer, so does Voldemort- what exactly does he have in mind for her?
