The final school bell rings, marking the start of summer vacation before senior year.

Seventeen-year-old Madison Crawford is spending the entire summer at her aunt's lakeside resort in a small beach town while her parents travel overseas for work. She expects long shifts at the snack shack, lazy afternoons by the water, and a quiet summer away from her friends.

She doesn't expect Sebastian Donovan.

Sebastian, 18, comes from one of the wealthiest families in town. Charming, confident, and constantly surrounded by friends, he's earned a reputation as the school's biggest flirt. Their first meeting ends in an argument after Sebastian's reckless behavior nearly ruins one of Emma's first days at work.
