Esmerelda Myers is forced to live with her father who’s been divorced to her mother for three years. In the beginning their relationship is hesitant and wobbly, only because it’s been three years since she’s talked to him.
Along with having to attend to a whole different school and a new home, there’s the mysterious guy next door who, surprisingly, no one seems to know about.
All Esmerelda knows is that he shows up at the most inconvenient times, he works for her father down at his auto shop, he’s nineteen, and his name is Rogelio Garcia.
And she’s somewhat attracted to this mysterious stranger.
It seems like a complete novel, doesn’t it? A bit clichéd, I know, but there happens to be several kids, a Husky named Dolphin and a Mr. George . . . mix this all together and you get Misty Falls.

But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home. He then tells her he fiund out it was Sammi who started the rumor. And to make it up to her, he brings her to see her favorite series, 'Raven-Man' at the Drive-in theatre.Complete
