When Kingdoms Collide is a crossover set after the finales of both Big Hero 6: The Series and The Lion Guard. A dimensional rift - born from the collision of Honey Lemon's experimental chemistry and the ancient magic of the Roar of the Elders - tears open above San Fransokyo Bay, depositing Kion and his Lion Guard teammates into the city in their animal forms. A second surge of energy transforms them into humans, leaving them stranded in a world of technology, concrete, and science they don't understand. With no way home and bodies they barely recognize, the Guard must rely on Big Hero 6 to help them survive San Fransokyo while the team races to reverse the transformation. But as cultures clash and friendships form, both groups begin to realize that some bonds transcend species, worlds, and even the laws of nature itself.
