In a universe where every soul is born from the stars, perfection was never meant to falter, but it did. When the gods created a realm to cast away flawed souls, they buried their greatest mistake within it: a chained, dark god whose very existence became the foundation of a sorrowful wasteland known as Elarindë. In this land of endless grief, where spirits are condemned to weep beneath a sunless sky, a rare anomaly occurs. A balanced soul named Serathiel is mistakenly cast into Elarindë, a place meant only for those born of darkness. There, she encounters Lottie, a quiet and hollow-eyed soul who has never known anything but despair. As light meets sorrow for the first time, something begins to shift, within them, and within the land itself. But Elarindë is not a passive prison. Beneath its cracked earth stirs the forgotten god the gods tried to erase, and Serathiel's presence may be enough to awaken it.
