what if the body count is a message, not a mystery?

Captain Reid Corbin has eleven teenagers posed like they died mid-joy - and a blood rose painted in the snow at every scene. The press says thirteen. Reid says the parents don't fit.

Then an unknown woman calls from nowhere and tells him he's counting wrong.

She won't give a name. She won't come in. She'll only show him a place - alone, tomorrow night - where the pattern starts to make sense.

Reid can keep collecting bodies.
Or he can follow a voice into the dark and find out what the rose was really signing.
