The Lotus and the River Prince is a historical romance set during the Ayutthaya dynasty. Princess Malai of Ayutthaya is forced into an arranged marriage with Prince Thewarit of Phitsanulok to secure a political alliance. Neither wants the marriage, but from their first night together, Thewarit offers Malai respect instead of possession, promising not to make their union a prison. As Malai leaves Ayutthaya and journeys north to Thewarit's home, she discovers his quiet kindness, discipline, and hidden tenderness. In Phitsanulok, she struggles to learn unfamiliar household customs while facing the jealousy of Dara, a chambermaid who resents Malai's place beside Thewarit. Through shared meals, honest conversations, and small acts of protection, Malai and Thewarit slowly grow from wary strangers into trusted companions. Dara's jealousy escalates from petty sabotage to attempted murder when she poisons Malai's soup. Thewarit races back through a storm to find Malai near death, exposes Dara's crime, and has her banished from noble service. During Malai's difficult recovery, Thewarit's devotion becomes undeniable. He nurses her through poison and fever, confesses his love, and Malai chooses him freely-not as a duty, but as the man she has come to trust. Their relationship deepens into a tender, mutual love built on patience, consent, and respect. After they finally embrace their marriage fully, peace is interrupted when Thewarit is summoned to war. Malai asks him for a husband's promise to return, and he vows to fight his way back to her. The campaign is brutal and costly, and Thewarit returns gravely wounded. Malai nurses him back to health, realizing that love is not one grand moment, but countless acts of care, courage, and return. At its heart, the story is about a political marriage transformed into a chosen love, as Malai and Thewarit learn that duty may bind two people together, but tenderness, trust, and s

For eighteen years, they have known each other's names. For eighteen years, they have known they are destined to marry. For eighteen years, they have never been allowed to meet. A prophecy declared that Yuvrani Nandhini Devi Mahadevan of Chandravali and Yuvraj Rudra Veer Pratap Suryavanshi of Suryagarh are bound by fate. But the same prophecy carried a terrifying warning: If they see each other before the White Comet returns eighteen years later, one of them will die. Now the comet is returning. As destiny prepares to unite them at last, Rudra finds himself chasing the truth behind his elder brother's murder-a mystery buried beneath secrets, lies, and powerful enemies. Together, Rudra and Nandhini are drawn into a dangerous hunt for the truth, uncovering conspiracies that threaten not only their kingdoms, but the future fate intended for them. And somewhere between prophecy and reality, duty and desire, grief and healing, they discover a love far deeper than destiny itself-a bond built on unwavering trust, fierce loyalty, and a connection that feels as though their souls have always belonged to one another. A story of fate, love, royal intrigue, family bonds, hidden enemies, and two hearts destined not only to find each other-but to become each other's greatest strength.
