Yeah, witches are real. In return for magic and our wishes granted, we become targets for evil-feeding monsters called phantoms. There's not usually many witches in each area (something I learned from... a friend), so usually, it's just me against them. We all have these things called charms, which are essentially your life force and proof of your witchiness tucked into the form of a pretty gemstone.

What do I think of the new witch in town? He's... something peculiar. II can't tell if I want to let a phantom devour him or learn more about him.

I guess only time will tell.
