SACRED SIN

"I will complain to the owner that you don't even know how to do hospitality for the guests!"

As she speak, the sudden, heavy silence finally registered in her brain. She noticed that the loud music from earlier had been completely turned off.

She again tripped because of the alcohol but somehow hold herself back.

She frowned deeply, looking around the quiet room. "I am sad... I just went to drink water. Who the heck stopped the music?"

When still no one played a track, she huffed, crossing her arms. "Fine. I can sing it by myself!"

Placing a hand on her waist, she loudly sang, and took another dramatic, unsteady drunken twirl right in front of him.

"Aadi!"

Savi came running into the Mandap area, her face completely pale and her eyes wide with sheer terror. She had realized exactly who those cars outside belonged to. Shaking with fear, Savi immediately stepped between Aadi and the cold, silent man.

"I am so sorry, sir... so sorry," Savi stammered, grabbing Aadishree's hand and trying to pull her away. "Aadi, come on, let's go-"

But she refused to budge. With surprising strength, she snatched her hand back from Savi's grip and pouted. "No! Let me dance!"

Suddenly, the heavy silence was broken.
The tall, dangerous man in black stepped forward, closing the distance between them. For the first time that night, the corner of his mouth lifted.

Not a smile.

Something far more dangerous.as his eyes locked onto Aadishree.

"Where are you taking my bride?" he asked, his voice low, cold, and utterly terrifying.
