Like a Doorstop

"Like a doorstop" is a saying commonly used amongst my family when the slice of the bread is too thick or too thin. Inconsistent and uncertain, nonetheless, we still eat the bread with our favorite slices.

This book is filled with one-shots the focuses on sorrows, regret, guilt, love and happiness. All focusing on different people from different backgrounds but still becoming each other's favorite in life; or was once each other's favorite.
