An unfortunate event caused Cate and Corvin to tie the knot at the tender age of 13. This event that is supposed to bind them together raised a rift between the two.

But they agreed to one, and it's to keep the marriage and to act as cousins on the stage. They were able to hide it for almost a couple of decades.

Coming back to the country after a few years of staying overseas, Corvin met her so-called cousin-wife again. But this time is different, he's willing to settle his marital issues.

By that it means, annulment.

To free him and her from the strings that shackles them, they decided to put an end to this. But problems arose as everything in place was moved by their decision. Their families were trying to tie them tighter together.
