For What It's Worth

Magandang bahay. Mabuting pamilya. Payapang buhay-eskwela. Strong friendships. Nakay Aira na ang lahat---that means, anything or anyone that would try to come next should follow and abide by the rules. Kung mayroon mang susubok na pumasok sa kanyang buhay, kailangang mahigitan ng taong 'yun ang kanyang pamantayan or go through a series of tests. Dahil kapag perpekto na ang buhay mo, you will do anything to protect it.

But what if the threat to that peace is already in your life? Thoughts and ideas can become quite a little risky for someone who plays safe all the time. Because as it turns out, having a good chemistry with someone who's supposedly just a "friend" is enough reason to spark interest. Something that should never happen. Lalong-lalo na when that spark magically saved her from being deeper intertwined with her crush na gustong-gusto niyo ng tanggalin sa buhay niya.

Now, the question is... Is this spark of romance worth it? Or should Aira just let it become one of those soon-forgotten little love tales of the campus?
