Main plot idea- students at caledon, mainly girls, go missing for a day to 3 days long, then come back drained, mentally ill, insecure, and almost in a state of psychosis. Carabella lockharts (who is out protagonist.) girlfriend, Loretta rice, is dead set on unraveling the mystery of these poor young adults, when the police won't. Which leads to Loretta getting caught up in deep shit, along with many of carabellas friends and or classmates. Carabella is left trying to defend those she holds dearly with minimal help.

The centered idea of the book- A crossover between "Lost Records: Bloom and Rage" and "Life is Strange" where the three main surviving characters from "lost records" Firstborns acquire supernatural abilities. These powers were given to them by the deal their moms made with the abyss.
