"I love you." That's what my dad said on their anniversary. "I hate you." That's what he said to my mother a year later. It's so funny how so many things can change in so little time. And that's what happened to Nellie Gilbert. Meet Nellie Gilbert, she’s an onion you see, the outside layer makes her seem like a normal average teenage girl, with perfect grades and probably a Harvard scholarship in the bag. But every layer you peel off, is another step to seeing what she’s hiding, and the more you become closer to her, the more you’ll see, that she really isn’t a perfect little girl at all. Now meet Nicholas Evans, he a banana, dirty on the outside but pure on the inside, and like most bananas it’s extremely hard to start peeling the first part, but once the first part is broken, then everything just becomes so much clearer. People like to fix things, they especially like the bragging rights at a family dinner, and most times, when the road just gets a little bumpy, they give up, but Nicholas Evans is not one of those people, when he wants something, he never gives up. And Nellie Gilbert can’t decide if that’s a good thing, or not.
