Teresi, an interdimensional scientist and traveler, has awakened in the body of Lauren Mallory with no memory of her host's past life or the events that led to her coma. Unable to identify the universe she is in, Teresi has tried to delay her return to school for as long as possible; yet, ultimately, she must go back, for if she has learned anything since waking up in this new reality, it is that the high school is an inevitable convergence point.

Now Lauren Mallory stands before Forks High School, her fists clenched at her sides and her posture a blend of equal parts anxiety and resignation. It is her first day back following that mysterious accident, an event she has no memory of and one everyone avoided discussing, and she must discover which story she is in and just how much she will be allowed to influence the plot without everything collapsing.
