The village of Vayra had only one law: Never look at the moon on the night it turns silver. No one questioned it anymore. Every year, when the Silver Moon rose, doors were locked, windows were covered, and the entire village remained silent until sunrise. Everyone obeyed. Except eighteen-year-old Aarya. She had spent her whole life wondering why fear ruled people more than truth. That night, she climbed onto the roof of her house and looked up. The moon wasn't merely shining. It was watching. Its light wrapped around her like cool water, and suddenly she saw flashes of lives that hadn't happened yet. A child crying beside a broken bridge. A forest burning beneath purple rain. A king kneeling before someone with no face. And finally- Herself. Standing on a mountain of shattered clocks, holding a sword made of starlight. Then the vision vanished. The next morning, the village elder stared at her with horror. "You looked," he whispered. Aarya nodded. The elder fell to his knees. "The Moon has chosen another Keeper." Before she could ask what that meant, the temple bell rang thirteen times. It had never rung more than once. The ground trembled. The ancient stone statue outside the temple cracked open, revealing a staircase descending into darkness. Hidden beneath the village was a forgotten city built by people who could remember the future instead of the past. Their greatest enemy was not death. It was a creature called the Hollow King, who erased tomorrow itself. Every generation, one person chosen by the Silver Moon inherited the memories of futures that had not yet happened. That person alone could stop the Hollow King. Aarya had never wanted to be anyone's hero. But somewhere beyond the hidden city, she could already hear the future calling her name. And for the first time in history- Tomorrow had begun to remember her.
