Souls do not enter Paradise right after dying.

They awaken first in a Purgatory where every soul must be cleansed, for them to become fit for eternal life. There, children are raised in righteousness and obedience. But Wren's lucid dreams refuse to follow the rules. Every night, they carry her into places she has never been... and where voices she never heard already know her name.

Wren has always believed she is only an orphan.

But if Wren is an orphan, and isn't one of the human-souls that had been resurrected from Earth, then why is she exactly in the place reserved for them?

Everyone believes she is exactly where she belongs.

But if that was true, then why does Heaven seem to remember her?

Some believe she is Heaven's forgotten miracle.

Others fear she is a prophecy waiting to awaken.

As the one meant to guide souls toward Paradise begins leading them somewhere else, every answer begins to demand a price. Wren must choose whose gentle voice to trust.

Because some lies are told with cruelty.

Others are spoken with kindness.

Some evil arrives with darkness.

The most dangerous ones arrive with a smile.
