Into The Woods

Ophelia Murdock has a normal life.

Living in a quiet small town, she spends her days wandering the woods with her close-knit group of friends, embracing her whimsical outlook on life. But after a party is crashed by the town's jocks, everything changes. She wakes the next morning covered in dirt with no memory of how she got home. Soon after, the boy she fought with that night begins acting strangely, insisting something happened that no one else can remember.

Then the story shifts to his perspective.

As he pieces together the events of that night, he realizes he and the mysterious girl are the only people who remember the party ever happened. Even more disturbing, he remembers that the house she lives in sat abandoned for years-until only a few months ago. Yet everyone else insists she's lived there since the day she was born. The deeper he investigates, the more reality begins to unravel, especially when he starts seeing her everywhere... in places she couldn't possibly be.

Some memories refuse to stay buried. And some people were never supposed to exist.
