EXILED PRINCE AND THE EMPEROR

Rebellion can end up in two results, one, a new empire being established, second, the ones who rebel, die. In Lindon, the rebellion ended up establishing a new emperor. To continue the royal lineage, on the orders of the empress dowager, every court official must send a daughter of their household to the harem of the emperor.

The problem? Aevia is not just a daughter of an official. She is the infamous eldest prince of Mitashia who has been exiled for wanting justice for her father. Now entering the harem of a foreign emperor, she must lay low and stay out of his sight so she can escape when the time comes.

But destiny has something else in store for her. She does not get the chance to run away rather she gets entangled with the emperor in ways she never wanted.

I turn my head slightly at him, "Aevia?" repeating in my deep voice, not the one he is used to hear from Aevia.

He presses his sword more, showing he won't hold back. "Where. Is. She? How dare you abduct my consort?" Neo looks at me confused before realizing.

"Do you need to show off more that you can sense even with a blindfold?" I let out a scoff. His lips twitch. His hand rises, the silk drops revealing his dark eyes. The eyes I did not thought I would see again.. not so quickly at least.

From the side of my eyes I notice Ashen remove his blindfold as well. He looks at the Emperor with a small smile. And then at me. Not with the respect he used to have for Aevia. Suspicion but deadlier than what was for Aevia.

"I will ask one last time, where is my consort?" He steps forward.
