Keeper of the Core

Akatra was born to inherit Endolia.

She was raised to feed its Core, command its light, and one day become the will that holds the kingdom together. But after everything she has survived, one truth has become impossible to ignore: The Core's system does not only protect. It consumes.

When unrest spreads beyond Endolia's borders and the other kingdoms of Aphyllis begin guarding their own Cores with fear, secrecy, and accusation, Akatra is forced into a world much larger than the throne waiting for her. Vyrellis, Draevakar, Aurevane, and Mirethra each hold a piece of the old covenant, and each kingdom has its own answer for what must be sacrificed to keep darkness away.

But the primordial dragons remember the answer that came before kingdoms.

And they are no longer silent.

As buried histories rise and ancient powers begin to test the five Cores, Akatra's blood may open doors no other royal can touch. But blood alone will not be enough. The darkness was born from the desire to make all wills kneel, and when the primordials offer her a truth Endolia was never meant to survive, Akatra must choose what kind of power she is willing to become.
