Madelyn Swan is the younger half-sister of Bella Swan, living in Forks, Washington. While Bella is dealing with her own emotional turmoil after the events of the first Twilight book, Madelyn is secretly falling apart herself. She lost her mother, Claire, when she was six years old-a grief that has never truly healed.
