One rainy night, a mysterious voice leads him to an abandoned shrine where he accidentally breaks the first of one hundred ancient seals.

The one who awakens is Kuon-the oldest divine beast, sealed away a thousand years ago to save both the human and spirit worlds.

But Minato has no memory of him.

As forgotten memories begin to resurface, ancient gods awaken, powerful yokai emerge from the shadows, and a promise made a thousand years ago slowly begins to unravel.
