Nova has a dark past. Tate has a God-given calling. When their paths intertwine, they are forced to face what truly happens behind closed doors.
As a police officer myself, this story began as a journal of sorts, a place to put my own frustrations for the flaws in the criminal justice system that I've encountered in my 10 years working with in it. I am deeply compassionate toward victims, and that's what this story is: a place to give the silenced victims a voice, to help them be understood, and to raise awareness and encourage empathy for those suffering from addiction and human trafficking.
