Born in the lawless depths of North Rukon District 80, Yusef learned that survival often comes before justice. After a mysterious power awakens within him during a Hollow attack, he is thrust into the Shin'o Academy as both a prodigy and a threat to be watched.

As a student in the Academy, Yusef dedicates himself to, training, guiding and protecting those the Soul Society has forgotten. But while he strives for his goal to have a safer reality, an even greater mystery lies buried inside himself.
