Sam Moore spent his life surviving. Now, for the first time, he has something worth protecting. His career is thriving. Matteo DeLuca is no longer just his client, but the man who stands beside him through every battle. Together they've built a life neither of them ever thought possible. Then two boys walk through their front door. Sixteen-year-old Josh has spent years believing that trust only leads to disappointment. Four-year-old Kyle has never known what it feels like to truly belong. As Sam and Matteo step into the unfamiliar world of foster care, they quickly learn that love alone isn't enough to heal a lifetime of hurt. While Josh struggles to lower the walls he's spent years building and Kyle searches for safety in the smallest moments, Sam is forced to confront the childhood he spent trying to forget. At the same time, Matteo discovers that protecting a family requires far more than power. Some battles can't be won in a courtroom. Some families aren't born. They're chosen. Beyond Privilege is the emotional second installment in The Privilege Series, featuring LGBTQ+ romance, found family, foster care, hurt/comfort, healing, loyal dogs, and the kind of love that proves home is something you build together.

"Hey, Lukey?" I heard my twin call as he once again walked into my room without knocking. I chose to ignore his presence just to teach him a lesson. "It won't stop bleeding and I'm starting to feel dizzy." "What?" That caused me to look up at him, and what I saw made my eyes widen and my chest tighten in fear. Jai was holding a blood-soaked towel tightly around his bleeding wrist. "Jai, what happened?!" I was immediately up and inning to his aid. "I had an accident, I guess." He answered vaguely. I narrowed my eyes at him as I rushed him into my bathroom and tried to stop the bleeding. He looked away when we made eye contact, so I knew he was obviously lying. "Jai..." I whispered when I unwrapped the towel and got a good look at his wrist. It was obviously self-inflicted, there was no denying it. "You wanna tell me the truth?"
