Before He Was Dracula

Joan wakes inside the body of Princess Joanna, the doomed first wife of a cursed count. Joanna has already helped betray her husband, Fred, replacing the medicine that kept his monstrous bloodline under control. Now Fred is chained beneath the castle, half-transformed and full of hatred, while Joan discovers she is being slowly poisoned by the same man who helped ruin him.

To survive, Joan must undo a betrayal she did not commit, face the husband who has every reason to kill her, and stop Fred from becoming the monster history remembers as COUNT DRACULA.
